i especially like the inclusion of an import version of iona from ireland. Wink
all joking aside, i really like the list. the only iffy one right now is summoning trap but that may prove to be an awesome card in this deck. it does act as extra polymorphs so i'm not going to knock it until you have got a chance to try it and have feedback to offer on your card choices.
all in all, i am happy to see something that looks like alot of fun.

Hey Dan...I like the list. I've got a couple suggestions. I don't think maining the Silences are necessary. The meta on Friday was extremely full of aggro: Nick, me, Dale, and Corey playing WW and Clint and Derek were busting vamps. You have Jake and Andrew doing control, but the majority of the meta right now is aggro. That said, I think I would dump the Silences and do 4 DoJ maindeck. Especially since there was a complete lack of Jund, which makes DoJ a little less effective. I would also mainboard Essence Scatters over Negates. I don't quite understand the 2 Fog/Angelsong thing. Are you playing both to see which plays better? I would think the cycling on Angelsong would trump Fog regardless of the fact that it's one more colorless to play.

For the current meta I would change this in your build. These could still be put SB:
-2 Silence
-3 Negate
-2 Fog

+2 Day of Judgment
+3 Essence Scatter
+2 Angelsong

i wanted to run both fog and angelsong as a means to not get them thought hemgroged away the same was true for my thought on summoning trap....
also the the silences were there to make sure the polymorph hits but i was thinking maybe to conqure's pledge in that spot...
the negates were there to make sure that Progenitus doesn't get wrathed away but i must concend that gate keeper kills it if its the only thing on the board...

i think clint might be right, as far as at least having a side board plan for some decks with good old steel wind sphinx. the lifegain doesn't hurt, either. the only real problem is drawing one in a deck you can't hard cast it in.

i might even say, depending on how the deck plays in our meta, that at least one empyrial archangel might be worth considering.
summoner's trap with plus angel is just dirty combat tricks.

and that's just it, in a deck that can't cast steel wind, i think your creature selection is probably pretty optimized for the time being. archangel is probably superduperwinmore. i really only consider it in lieu of really aggressive decks like rdw, as a sort of buffer but if baneslayer can race, a question i have no experience with, then i'm all for it.

Progenitus is subpar in this build from my experience. I think SotSW and Empyrial Archangle would have a larger effect on the game state if you dropped them during combat than progenitus would.
